- Toddler pace = adult pace ÷ 2 — one major activity per half-day max
- Calm afternoon block replaces the nap (parks, rivers, AC museums, Mermaid Lagoon)
- Every dinner is early (17:00–18:00) so night routine starts ~19:30
🚆 Transport
- IC cards: Suica/Pasmo (Tokyo), ICOCA (Kyoto) — tap through everything; kids 6+ need their own
- Avoid rush hour 7:30–9:30 & 17:30–19:30 with the stroller
- Shinkansen: reserve rows 1–5 luggage cars, window seats, 1 month ahead
- Nozomi doesn't stop at Atami — use Hikari/Kodama for the ryokan leg

- Tokyo ~20–26°C; Kyoto still warm (25–30°C); typhoon season
- Pack ponchos + stroller rain cover; indoor fallbacks everywhere
- Most top Disney attractions are indoor — a rainy day is still a good day

- Multipurpose toilets (多目的トイレ) have changing tables
